Executive Director, ASEAN Federation of Accountants
Edward Tanujaya is Executive Director, ASEAN Federation of Accountants and Director of Partnership, Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI) since April 2024. Previously he was Partner Relations and Membership Director of IAI since October 2015 until his appointment as AFA ED. He is also a lecturer at Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia since 2002.
A Professional with more than 25 years of experience in the field of accounting, finance, and business, he was Junior Partner at Experd Consultant, Publishing Director at Penerbit Salemba, and Head of Finance & Accounting at PT NEFA Industry. He briefly joined Ernst & Young Indonesia after finishing bachelor’s degree of economics majoring in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia in 1999. Edward then completed his Master of Science in International Business from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen during 2000 - 2001.
As holder of Chartered Accountant (CA) Indonesia, ASEAN CPA, Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) – Chartered Global Management Accountant (ACMA – CGMA) from CIMA (UK), he used to be active independent member of Audit Committee in a listed company (PT Ekadarma International) and a state-owned enterprise (PT Danareksa), before fully dedicate himself to develop accounting profession at national and regional level.
